Narrative Empowerment is an anti-racism course built around the idea that stories can help us understand experiences beyond our own. Participants will be invited to listen closely, reflect on personal narratives, and examine parts of Canadian history that are often overlooked in everyday learning.
The course will consider the experiences of Indigenous, Black, Chinese, Japanese, and South Asian communities while connecting historical injustice with present-day systems, relationships, and responsibilities.
